Gulf of Mexico Oil Leak

The oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico has shocked the world. This is a man made environmental disaster to surpass all others. Mother Earth is bleeding profusely and the impact on the region looks like it will be far reaching and long lasting. At the time of writing this the oil slick is now 25,000 square kilometres. That’s 13 times the size of Port Phillip Bay and its still growing daily.
Recently I was sent a link to a video on Facebook. It may be a little “out there” for some people but it was a beautiful channeled message from the whales and dolphins in response to this crisis. They basically said that this is our wake up call. It’s a strong and clear message about the damage our demand for oil can inflict on the natural world. The message is that if you are disturbed by this event then take responsibility to create change. Start by choosing and using clean energy. BP is not the villain here. Each and every one of us has played a role. If you have ever filled your car with petrol, as I have, you have some responsibility for that oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico. Secondly, begin to work metaphysically. Visualize and meditate on the ocean healing. Send positive thoughts and support to everyone who is working to fix the problem including the BP engineers who are genuinely struggling to cap the leak. When enough people focus on a positive outcome we can create miracles.
